Solution
Humans release adrenaline hormone from their adrenal glands when confronted with frightening circumstances. Emergency hormone is another name for the adrenaline hormone. Some of the neurons in the central nervous system and the medulla of the adrenal glands both manufacture it. It is promptly released into the blood during a stressful circumstance, sending signals to the organs to trigger a certain response, within a few minutes. Adrenaline's effects might last for up to an hour after the tension has passed.
The impact of adrenaline release in our body are as follows:
- Adrenaline activates the fight-or-flight response in the body. This reaction dilates the airways, supplying the muscles with the oxygen they require to fight or flee danger.
- It also causes the blood arteries to constrict, rerouting blood to the heart and lungs, among other important muscle groups.
- Adrenaline also makes it harder for the body to feel pain.
- Our muscles' blood vessels dilate (expand).
- To slow digestion, blood vessels in the digestive tract constrict.
- In order to raise blood pressure, kidneys produce more renin.
- The production of glucose increases for energy.
Example: If a person sees a wild animal suddenly, their heart will race, and they will breathe faster to prepare for running or defending themselves.
