Mobile Phone Manners

More and more people are used to carrying mobile phones to their workplace. However, the use of mobile phones can be dangerous at certain times and places. It is really a dangerous thing to use phones all the time. There has to be a way in which one should use his/her phone. The use of mobile phones while driving must be clearly ignored because no call is as important as one's life. There are many places where even the use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited such as inside an aircraft, in an ICU or when you are near a heart patient.

Even the government is also taking initiatives to ban the use of mobile phones in certain places. The Government on Thursday banned the use of cellular phones at petrol pumps as they could ignite the flammable vapours present in the air. This clearly shows that mobile phones can be dangerous too. Follow certain manners or etiquettes while using the phones such as - While talking keep your voice low so that other people by your side don't feel annoyed, avoid using the phone while using public transportation, do not talk or text while having a face-to-face conversation so that one doesn't lose any interpersonal links, etc.

Hence, mobile phones should be used in a proper manner without making others feel annoyed or irritated. Mobile phone etiquettes are similar to common courtesy. Phone calls and messages have a tendency to deviate people from what's happening in front of them. Therefore, Mobile users should be thoughtful, courteous and respect the people around them and must always follow the etiquette of using this technology.
