Two Directive Principles that aim at the establishment of a Socialistic Pattern of Society are as follows:
- There should be fair distribution of wealth. There should be no concentration of wealth in the hands of a few people. Means of production and other resources of the country should be utilised for the common good.
- Childhood and youth should be protected against exploitation. Men, women and children should not be forced’ by economic necessity to enter jobs and vocations, not suited to their age and strength.
