Here, t₁ = 0, t₂ = -4, t₃ = -8, t₄ = -12

∴ t₂ - t₁ = -4 - 0 = -4

∴ t₃ - t₂ = -8 - (-4) = -8 + 4 = -4

∴ t₄ - t₃ = -12 - (-8) = -12 + 8 = -4

The difference between two consecutive terms is constant.

Hence, the given sequence is an A.P. and the common difference (d) is -4.
