Solution

Price of a ticket in 2015 = ₹ 1500

Increased price this year = 18% of price in 2015

= 18% of ₹ 1500

= `18/100 xx 1500`

= ₹ 270

Price of ticket this year = last year price + increased price

= ₹ 1500 + ₹ 270

= ₹ 1770

Price of ticket this year = ₹ 1770
