I, now firmly believe that along with studies, sports should be given equal importance in a child’s development. As they say, ‘all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. I am now convinced with the concept that sports are a good medium to promote and inculcate important life skills viz. healthy lifestyle, good nutrition, physical fitness, and choices that positively impact health and mental well-being. Sports imbibe within us principles of maturity, confidence, responsibility, and discipline. I have started playing badminton since last week and every word written in the article resonates with the experience I had in a week’s time. I would earnestly recommend you pick up a sport and reap these benefits. I would wait to hear your views and opinions on this subject.
