If the length of a rectangle is 15 cm and breadth is 5 cm, find its area.

Solution

Length of the rectangle, l = 15 cm

Breadth of the rectangle, b = 5 cm

∴ Area of rectangle = l × b

= 15 × 5

= 75 cm2

Hence, the area of the rectangle is 75 cm2.
