Solution

If `sin θ = 1/sqrt(2)` and `tan ф = 1/sqrt(3)` then (2θ + ф) is equal to 120°.

Explanation:

`sin θ = 1/sqrt(2)`

⇒ Take the acute value `θ = 45^circ . tan ф = 1/sqrt(3)`

⇒ Take the acute value ф = 30°.

So, 2θ + ф

= 2 × 45° + 30°

= 120°
