Solution

For a quadratic polynomial with roots α and β, the general form is:

x2 − (α + β)x + (αβ) = 0

x2 − (−6)x + (−4) = 0

x2 + 6x − 4 = 0

Hence, the polynomial is  x2 + 6x − 4.
