Solution
Given, a : b = 3 : 8
`=> a/b = 3/8`
`(4a + 3b)/(6a - b) = (4(a/b) + 3)/(6(a/b) - 1)` ...(Dividing each term by b)
= `(4(3/8) + 3)/(6(3/8) - 1)`
= `(3/2 + 3)/(9/4 - 1)`
= `(9/2)/(5/4)`
= `18/5`
