Solution

B − A = `[(1, 2),(3, 1)] - [(1, 2),(2, 3)]`

= `[(1 - 1, 2 - 2),(3 - 2, 1 - 3)]`

= `[(0, 0),(1, -2)]`

C(B − A) = `[(3, 1),(1, 3)] xx [(0, 0),(1, -2)]`

= `[(3 xx 0 + 1 xx 1, 3 xx 0 + 1 xx (-2)),(1 xx 0 + 3 xx 1, 1 xx 0 + 3 xx (-2))]`

= `[(1, -2),(3, -6)]`
