(7p + 3q) : (3p – 2q) = 43 : 2
⇒ `(7p + 3q)/(3p - 2q) = (43)/(2)`
⇒ 129p – 86q = 14p + 6q
⇒ 129p – 14p = 6q + 86q
⇒ 115p = 92q
⇒ `p/q = (92)/(115) = (4)/(5)`
∴ p : q = 4 : 5
