Solution
Salary of a farmworker in Rajasthan for 1 day = Rs 73 It is given that Bhairon Singh works for 8 weeks in the farm.
Number of days in 1 week = 7
∴ Number of days in 8 weeks = 8 × 7 = 56
Now, Bhairon Singh’s earnings for working in the farm for 56 days
= Rs 56 × 73
= Rs 4,088
Working:
73
× 56
438
3650
4088
Thus, Bhairon Singh will earn Rs 4,088 in 8 weeks.
