Solution
Casteism is not promoted by discussing castes in this textbook. India is a religious and caste-based country with several languages in use. It is well acknowledged that people from many castes coexist in Indian society. So reality cannot be concealed. This is why the textbook includes a topic on caste. The negative consequences of casteism can be explained to students today in order to build a better India.
