Africa is the second-largest continent in the world. It is known for its rich flora and fauna and its abundant natural wealth. Though most of the population resides in rural areas, there are many vibrant cities on the continent, including Cairo, Lagos, Johannesburg, Nairobi, Cape Town, and Dar es Salaam.
It has plenty of tourist attractions, such as Kruger National Park, Victoria Falls, the Pyramids of Giza, Marrakech, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar.
The cuisine of this continent is unique. Some of the famous dishes include Biltong, Fufu, Mandazi, Jollof Rice, Biryani, and Piri Piri sauce. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the African elephant, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, wildebeest, oryx, zebra, giraffe, antelope, and so on.
The continent can be divided into different types of vegetation regions, such as tropical rainforests, savannah grasslands, the Sahara, the Namib, and the Kalahari deserts.
With a population of about 1 billion, the African continent is home to people from various tribes and cultures. Christianity, Islam, and other native religions are followed by the people. Africa is known for its rich tribal culture and its scenic beauty.
