To find a slope of a graph we take the following steps
a. Take two points P and Q on the line, at a distance more than half the length of the line. The points should be so chosen that the value of x and y should be easily read on the axes.
b. Draw horizontal and vertical lines from these points on the axes, and read the values of x, say x1, and the value of y, say y1 for the point P. Similarly, the values of x, say x2, and the value of y, say y2, for the point Q.
c. Calculate Δy = y2 - y1 and Δx = x1 - x2. Calculate the slope of the graph m = Δy/Δx
