I feel extremely happy and proud of myself today. I never thought that at my age I would learn to read, but my desire to read Kashi Yatre gave me the courage to begin. With my granddaughter’s help and my own determination, I learnt the Kannada alphabet and became independent. This achievement has taught me that age should never stop us from learning. I am grateful to my granddaughter for being my teacher and helping me fulfil my dream.
