Subject: Request for maintenance and safety upgrades in Senatown colony parks
Respected Sir/Madam,
As the President of the Senatown Residential Welfare Association (RWA), I am writing to bring to your urgent attention the deteriorating condition of the public parks in our colony. While these spaces are vital for the physical well-being of our residents, their current state has become a hindrance rather than a facility.
The walking tracks, which are used daily by senior citizens and children alike, are broken and uneven in several places, posing a significant risk of trips and falls. Furthermore, the lack of adequate lighting is a major security concern; many existing poles are non-functional, making the parks unsafe for evening and early morning walks. The greenery and general landscaping also require immediate pruning and maintenance to restore the parks' utility.
I request you to kindly direct the concerned department to the following:
- Repair and resurface the walking tracks.
- Install new LED lighting poles and repair existing ones.
- Undertake a comprehensive landscaping and cleaning drive.
Enhancing these spaces will encourage a healthier lifestyle and foster a safer environment for our community. We look forward to your prompt and positive action.
Yours sincerely,
Raghav Mishra
President,
RWA Senatown
