(i) Plantation farming refers to the practice of growing only one crop throughout the plantation period. For example, consider tea and rubber plantations. (i) Mixed farming refers to farming that involves another auxiliary occupation, such as poultry farming, cattle breeding, fruit and vegetable gardening, and so on.
(ii) There is no such facility accessible in plantation farming. (ii) When crops are not ripe, livestock animals provide an alternative source of income.
