Saturated hydrocarbons containing carbon-carbon single bond also, the carbon and hydrogen atoms bonded together by single bond.
i.e. alkane. eg. CH4 (Methane)
Unsaturated hydrocarbons have double or even triple bonds between carbon atoms.
i.e alkene e.g. CH2 = CH2 (ethene)
alkyne e.g. CH ≡ CH (ethyne)
