Solution

  1. Brazil’s great latitudinal expanse leads to a wide range of climates. For example, in the equator, the environment is hot, whereas near the Tropic of Capricorn, it is temperate.
  2. In coastal regions near the Equator, the sun’s rays are perpendicular, resulting in consistent temperatures throughout the year. Furthermore, winds move vertically in this area.
  3. Also, the convergence zone of trade winds near coastal places is modest. As a result, cyclones do not form.

Therefore, tropical cyclones occur rarely in Brazil.
