How do you feel when someone insults you?

When someone insults me, I feel hurt at first, but I try to stay calm. I remind myself that their words show their character, not mine. Instead of fighting back, I prefer to ignore them or respond politely to keep my dignity. I don't let their words affect my self-worth.
