Solution
Let x = 2 and y = 1 be a solution of the equation.
2x + 3y = m
⇒ 2(2) + 3(1) = m
⇒ 4 + 3 = m
⇒ m = 7
∴ If x = 2 and y = 1 is the solution of the equation
2x + 3y = m then the value of m is 7.
