Since, {2, –3} is solution set.
It means 2 and –3 are roots of the equation,
∴ x = 2 or x = –3
⇒ x – 2 = 0 or x + 3 = 0
⇒ (x – 2)(x + 3) = 0
⇒ (x2 + 3x – 2x – 6) = 0
⇒ x2 + x – 6 = 0
Hence, quadratic equation with solution set {2, –3} is x2 + x – 6 = 0.
