Question
Find the measure of each angle of a regular octagon.
Advertisements
Solution
Number of sides (n) in octagon = 8
Now, the sum of interior angles of a regular octagon = (n – 2) × 180°
= (8 – 2) × 180°
= 6 × 180°
= 1080°
Since, the octagon is regular, measure of each angle = `1080^circ/8` = 135°
