Solution

M.P. =Rs. 1500, S.P. = Rs. 1320
Discount = M.P. - S.P.
⇒ Discount = Rs.1500 - Rs.1320
⇒ Discount = Rs.180
Discount percentage
= `("discount"/"M.P." xx 100)`%

= `(180/1500 xx 100)`%
= 12%.
