Find the area of a square field if its perimeter is 96 m.

Solution

Given, perimeter of square field = 96 m

∵ Perimeter of square = 4 × Side

⇒ 4 × (Side) = 96

⇒ Side = 24 m

∴ Area of square field = (Side)2

= (24)2

= 576 m2
