\[\text { So, 873 = 900 - Discount }\]
\[\text { Therefore, Discount = Rs } . (900 - 873)\]
\[ =\text { Rs } . 27\]
\[\text { Discount % }= \frac{\text { Discount }}{MP} \times 100 % \]
\[ = \frac{27}{900} \times 100 % \]
\[ = 3 % \]
