Splitting the middle term,

`x(x - 5sqrt2) + 3sqrt2(x - 5sqrt2)`

`= (x - 5sqrt2)(x + 3sqrt3)`

`∴ x^2 - 2sqrt2x - 30 = (x - 5sqrt2)(x + 3sqrt2)`
