Given: cosec 66° + tan 66°

Step-wise calculation:

1. Note 66° = 90° – 24°.

2. Use cofunction identities: cosec(90° – α) = sec α and tan(90° – α) = cot α.

3. Therefore cosec 66° = sec 24° and tan 66° = cot 24°.

cosec 66° + tan 66° = sec 24° + cot 24°, where 24° lies between 0° and 45°.
