3x + 4y = 15

Solution

Given: 3x + 4y = 15

Subtract 3x from both sides, then divide by 4

3x + 4y = 15

4y = 15 – 3x

`y = (15 - 3x)/4` 

`y = -(3/4)x + 15/4`
