Solution
Reflex actions based on previous experiences are categorized into two types:
- Unconditional reflexes: Reflexes that are unconditional or inborn are inherited. These include eye blinking, sucking, swallowing, knee jerking, sneezing, coughing, and more. They are permanent, never go away, and don't require any prior experience.
- Conditional reflexes: Reflexes that are conditional or acquired are learned through experience or education throughout life. They are founded on personal experience or education. Driving, cycling, and other activities are examples of transient, non-heritable behaviors that may vanish or resurface.
