Solution
Dissociative amnesia involves a partial or complete loss of memory that cannot be explained by any identifiable physical or neurological cause. In this condition, a person may forget certain life experiences or, in more severe cases, lose memory of their entire past. They may be unable to remember personal details such as their name, birthplace, occupation, or even recognize close family members like parents, children, or spouse. This memory loss goes beyond normal forgetfulness. It can be limited to specific events or time periods, or so widespread that the individual forgets their entire personal history. As a result, some individuals fail to remember particular people, places, or incidents, while others lose all recollection of their past.
