Solution
A throw-in is a way to restart the game. It is awarded to the opposing team of the player who last touched the ball before it completely crossed the touchline, either on the ground or in the air. A goal cannot be scored directly from a throw-in.
- If the ball goes directly into the opponents’ goal, a goal kick is given.
- If the ball goes directly into the thrower’s own goal, a corner kick is awarded.
