Solution
It was a princely state in Saurashtra (Gujarat). The people of this state were ready to accede to India while its Nawab wanted to merge in Pakistan. However common people opposed the Nawab’s decision. He escaped to Pakistan. In February 1948, Junagadh merged in India.
