Solution
Dispositional Attribution
Internal causes are behaviours that can be explained by considering a person’s traits, abilities, motives, or personality. When we attribute behaviour to internal forces, we assume that the individual is individually accountable for that behaviour.
For example, if a student performs well on an exam, we may attribute his success to intelligence or hard work. Similarly, if a person fails, we may attribute it to a lack of effort or ability. Thus, internal causes refer to personal characteristics within an individual.
