Solution
A bounce pass to a teammate is often used for passing into the post or back out when the post player is double-teamed. It uses the same throwing motion as a regular pass but is aimed at the floor. The ball should bounce far enough ahead so it reaches the receiver at waist height. A common guideline is to aim about three-quarters of the distance to the teammate, but players need to practice to find the right spot. Adding consistent backspin helps make judging the distance easier.
