Solution

Panchayat level planning is the grassroots level of the Panchayati Raj System; it is an elected body in which villagers vote for representatives to participate in local government and development. The Panchayati Raj has a three-tier structure.

  1. Village Level known as Gram Panchayat or Gram Sabha
  2. Block Level known as Panchayat Samiti
  3. District Level known as Zila Parishad

Village Panchayat elections are held every five years. This system allows for villagers to participate in planning, ensuring that development initiatives are tailored to village requirements and properly implemented at the local level.
