Solution
Condensation is the process by which water vapour in the air changes into liquid water. This happens when warm, moist air cools down and reaches its dew point, the temperature at which air becomes saturated.
As the air cools, it can no longer hold all the water vapour, so the excess moisture condenses into tiny water droplets. These droplets gather around condensation nuclei such as dust or smoke particles in the atmosphere. This process leads to the formation of clouds, fog, dew, or frost, depending on temperature and surface conditions.
Condensation is the reverse of evaporation and plays a vital role in the water cycle, returning moisture to the Earth's surface.
