(i) Menu bar:

(ii) Scroll bar:

  • Scroll bars allow users to navigate the window horizontally and vertically.
  • Scroll bars allow users to access hidden information by scrolling horizontally or vertically through a window.
  • A scroll bar is made up either a horizontal or vertical scroll area, a slider box, and arrows at either end.
  • The slider box provides information about the size and position of the viewable part of the object.

(iii) Dialogue boxes: 

  • A dialogue box is a window through which the application interacts with the user.
  • A dialogue box can serve multiple purposes, including displaying information, gathering user input, or combining the two.
  • There are two sorts of dialogue boxes: modal and modeless.
  • Modal dialogue boxes allow an application to proceed only once the user responds.
  • Modeless dialogue boxes allow users to continue without replying.
