Four factors that influence staff morale are explained below:

1. Office environment: Surroundings play an important role in developing the attitude of an individual. Employee morale is definitely affected by office environment, so it is important to keep it transparent and clean.
2. Nature of work: The nature of work an employee is supposed to perform influences their attitude towards it. Many jobs of a routine nature create boredom and encourage a feeling of alienation and stress among employees.
3. Appreciation: If an employee is doing well, he needs appreciation for it. Employees feel happy when they are appreciated or rewarded. This gives a sense of belonging towards the company, and in the absence of such benefits, employees’ morale is badly affected.
4. Team work: Employees feel happy if they work in a team. When teams are contributing and working well together, then morale becomes high. If there is a lack of teamwork, the morale of employees is badly affected.
