Total number of letters in word 'mathematics' n(S) = 11
Let A be the event that the card drawn bears the letter m.
Then A = {m, m}
∴ n(A) = 2
∴ `P(A) = (n(A))/(n(S)`
∴ `P(A) = 2/11`
Hence, the probability that a card drawn bears the letter ‘m’ is `=2/11`.
