3. Displacement and Alienation: Development projects, mining, and deforestation in tribal areas have caused mass displacement and alienation, pushing people toward extremist ideologies. The state has often failed to ensure proper rehabilitation and compensation.
4. Lack of Dialogue: There has been limited and inconsistent effort to engage in dialogue with Maoist leaders or their sympathizers, which could otherwise help find peaceful and lasting solutions.
