  1. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar carefully studied the constitutions of many countries and then prepared the draft of the Indian Constitution. He presented this draft to the Constituent Assembly for discussion. Each Article of the Constitution was examined in detail, and members gave their suggestions for improvements.
  2. Dr. Ambedkar answered the questions raised, accepted useful suggestions, and made changes to ensure that every part of the Constitution was accurate and complete. Because of his deep involvement and dedicated efforts in draughting the Constitution, he is honoured with the title ‘Architect of the Indian Constitution’.
