Solution

Dilute Base Strong Base
A dilute base contains a small amount of base dissolved in a relatively large amount of water. A strong base ionises almost completely in water.
It has a low concentration of base in the solution. It produces a high concentration of OH ions in aqueous solution.
Dilution refers to the concentration of the base and does not indicate its strength. Strength refers to the degree of ionisation of the base and does not indicate its concentration.
A dilute solution may be prepared from either a strong or weak base. Strong bases include NaOH and KOH.
