(i)	They are carbohydrates.	They are proteins.
(ii)	Basic units (monomers) are monosaccharide units.	Basic units (monomers) are α - amino acids.
(iii)	There is glycosidic linkage (bond) in polysaccharides.	There is peptide bond linkage in α -   amino acids.
(iv)	e.g. Starch, glycogen	e.g. Protein
