Solution

Diffusion and Osmosis (Definition):

Diffusion Osmosis
Diffusion is the free movement of molecules of a substance from the region of its higher  concentration to the region of its lower concentration when the two substances are in direct contact. Osmosis is the diffusion of water
molecules across a semi-permeable membrane from a more dilute solution (with a lower solute concentration) to a
less dilute solution (with a  higher solute concentration).
