Solution

My idol - Udit Narayan

Raj was himself an accomplished singer and he loved the voice of Udit Narayan. He was ecstatic when he got a VIP pass for the concert of his favourite singer Udit Narayan. He considered himself extremely fortunate to have obtained a VIP pass because general admission tickets sold out like hotcakes. He had no idea his favourite singer had such a large fan base. But he was relieved to discover that he was not the only one who adored his dulcet tones.

He enjoyed his first lucrative film debut in Hindi, the 1988 smash hit Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. In addition, he was born into a very lowly family. His mother Bhuvneshwari Devi, a folk singer, supported his career, while his father was a straightforward farmer, which impressed him. Raj was thus denied his long-held dream of meeting his favourite performer. He was struck by the legendary singer's humility. Despite all the praise he received for one hit song after another, he never lost sight of his modest beginnings. Raj understands that music cannot be the sole domain of anyone, whether born rich or poor. His talent was all he needed to launch his fantastic career. This is what drives him to pursue his hobby of singing and turn it into a career. He aspires to perform a duet with his favourite singer one day.
