Solution
The technology called Embryo Transfer (ET) or Multiple Ovulation Multiple Ovulation and Embryo Transfer (MOET) increases the herd size of cattle quickly. It involves inducing a superior female to produce multiple eggs (superovulation). These fertilised embryos are collected and implanted into surrogate females, which carry them to term. This technique allows many offspring from superior cows in a year, much more than natural reproduction. Embryos can also be frozen for future use.
Thus, ET rapidly multiplies genetically superior cattle to meet growing demands.
