1. Lead the student movement in Bihar: In March 1974, Bihar students protested against rising prices, food scarcity, unemployment, and corruption. Jaya Prakash Narayan agreed to lead the non-violent movement, which would grow beyond Bihar. The movement received national support, attracting people from every sector of society.
